IBJJF Masters Worlds/Las Vegas Open rewind

What a week in Las Vegas. 

James Walsh got promoted to brown belt on the podium, Bacallao "5000" beat Atos' Josh Hinger in the finals of the Las Vegas black belt absolute division by an advantage and a few of our other guys got 2-3 matches in on the big stage.

Bacallao won his first match on points and lost by an advantage in the second round, Mau Mau won his first match on points and his second match via surprise… Kimura! but then lost on points in the 3rd-round match. Matt choked his fist opponent with a pirate choke from side control, submitted his opponent from the back in his second match and lost his third on points. 

Lance fell just short in his first match, losing by points, and Jimbo won his first match and his second match via points but came up short on his 3rd-round match to finish with bronze.

Las Vegas Open Nogi IBJJF
Bacallao won his first match via points. Lost his second via points but snagged a bronze in the process! In absolute, Bacallao won his first match via N/S choke, then hand fought with Hinger for the entirety of the match to win on an advantage. Daniel lost a close one via points in the first round.
