Weekdays 9 AM to 1 PM, two sessions in June and July, on our mats in NoDa.
Your kids spend the morning in a real BJJ gym with our regular kids coaching staff, not seasonal counselors. Each day runs four hours and covers stretching, technique, positional drilling, supervised live rolling, a quiet block for emotion regulation, lunch, and games.
Two sessions to choose from. Families pick 5 days per week or 3 days per week. Active CJJA members receive a member rate, and families enrolling more than one camper receive a sibling discount.
CJJA members save 14%. Families with more than one camper save 10% with the sibling discount.
Full refund minus deposit. Deposit converts to credit for future CJJA programs.
No cash refund. Full balance converts to account credit usable for classes, open mats, or future camp.
No refund or credit. Prorated credit at director's discretion for documented medical emergencies only.
Deposits are nonrefundable. Credits valid 12 months from date of issue.
Every coach at this camp has cleared a background check through an independent youth-safety screening provider. That comes first because it should.
Camp is run by Jake, Bri, Alex, and Kimie, the same coaches who run our regular Bulldogs and Lil' Pups kids classes. Your camper isn't getting summer counselors who learned BJJ last week. They're getting the people who teach kids on this mat every week, who know how to run a room full of squirmy kids, and who will know your camper's name by Day 2.
Ages 4 to 12, same as our standard CJJA Kids classes.
Not at all. The camp curriculum starts from foundational stretching, body movement, and partner drilling that work for absolute beginners. Coaches pair beginners with similar-experience campers their age for live rolling and adjust as needed.
No. Comfortable athletic clothing is fine for the first day. If your child decides BJJ is for them, you can pick up a gi after the first week.
Camp staff are trained in first aid. The registration waiver authorizes us to administer first aid and call EMS if needed. Minor scrapes get cleaned and bandaged. Anything more serious, we call you immediately.
No. Each camper packs their own lunch and snacks, no nuts please.
Yes, in most cases. The registration waiver captures detailed allergy, medical, and special-needs information so coaches and staff are aware before Day 1. If you have specific concerns, email kids@cltbjj.com before registering.
Yes, for promotional and educational use. Parents can opt out of photos in the registration waiver.
